Privacy Policy

Affinity Underground Utilities Concrete Construction LLC (“Affinity Utilities,” “we,” “us” or “our”) provides concrete construction and underground utility services in Cincinnati, Ohio and the surrounding region. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

It covers this website, estimate requests you send through it, and the text messages you may choose to receive from us. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information you give us

When you submit the estimate request form, we collect what you enter into it:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to provide one
• The property type and the type of work you are asking about
• The city or community the property is in
• Approximate size or timing for the project, if you provide it
• Any project details you write in the message box
• Whether you checked either text message consent box, and which version of the consent wording you were shown

We also collect whatever you choose to tell us when you call or email us directly.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect a limited amount of technical information about visits so we can see which pages are useful and keep the site working:

• Pages viewed and the order they were viewed in
• The site or search engine that referred you, if any
• Approximate location at the country and region level, derived from your IP address
• Browser type, operating system, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or desktop

This information is aggregated. We do not use it to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not try to identify individual visitors from it.

We use the information described above only to:

• Respond to your estimate request and answer your questions
• Prepare an estimate and discuss scope, timing and pricing with you
• Schedule and carry out work you hire us to do
• Send you the text messages you specifically consented to receive, and nothing else
• Keep a record of when and how you gave consent to be texted, as the law requires
• Understand how the website is used so we can improve it
• Meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it for anyone else’s marketing.

Text messaging is entirely optional. You will never receive a text from us unless you asked for one.

How we obtain your consent

Consent is collected through two separate checkboxes on our estimate request form. Both start unchecked, both are optional, and you can submit the form and get an estimate without checking either one. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase and is never required to do business with us. We may also add your number if you text us first.

Transactional messages

If you consent to service messages, they may include:

• Estimate and appointment confirmations
• Scheduling changes and crew arrival updates
• Project status notifications while work is underway
• Service follow-ups after a project is finished

Marketing messages

Marketing consent is asked for separately, and checking it is never required. If you consent, those messages may include:

• Seasonal concrete maintenance reminders
• Sealing and power-washing reminders
• Special offers and promotions

Frequency, cost and opting out

• Message frequency may vary. It depends on your project, and generally increases around scheduled work.
• Message and data rates may apply. Any such charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 513-546-4690.

In plain terms: your phone number and your text messaging consent stay with us. We do not sell, rent, share or otherwise pass them to any third party, affiliate, partner, lead buyer or advertiser for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

The only exception is the messaging provider we use to actually deliver the texts you asked for. That provider acts on our instructions, may use your number solely to send our messages, and is not permitted to use it for anything else.

We share the rest of your information only where it is necessary to run our business, and only with parties bound to use it for that purpose alone:

• Website and form hosting. This site is hosted on Netlify, which receives and stores estimate form submissions so we can read them.
• Text message delivery. Our SMS provider delivers the messages you consented to receive, subject to the restriction in the section above.
• Website analytics. Ahrefs Web Analytics receives aggregate traffic data about page visits. It does not receive your name, phone number, email address or anything you type into the form.
• Subcontractors and suppliers. Where a project requires it, we may share the property address and scope of work with the people performing it.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell personal information to anyone.

This site runs one third-party script: Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views and reports them to us in aggregate. It tells us which pages people read and roughly where visitors are located, at a country and region level.

We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not take part in advertising networks that follow you around the web.

Your browser may still store small amounts of data so the site functions correctly. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings — every major browser has controls under Privacy or Site Settings — and most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” option. Because we do not track you across other websites in the first place, blocking cookies will not change what we collect.

We take practical steps to protect the information you send us:

• The entire site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit.
• Form submissions are stored in an access-controlled account, not in a public location.
• Access is limited to the people at our company who need it to respond to you and do the work.
• Accounts holding customer information are protected by passwords and, where available, multi-factor authentication.

No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have information you would rather not send through a web form, call us at 513-546-4690 instead.

We keep estimate requests for as long as we need them to respond to you, complete any work that follows, and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Records of text message consent and of opt-out requests are kept for as long as required to show that we handled your consent correctly. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it.

You control what you receive from us and the information we hold:

• Stop text messages. Reply STOP to any message from us. You can also call or email and ask to be removed.
• Stop marketing texts but keep service texts. Tell us which you want and we will adjust it — the two consents are separate.
• Access your information. Ask what we hold about you and we will tell you.
• Correct your information. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information. Ask us to delete it, and we will, unless we are required to keep it for a legal, tax or consent-record reason.
• Stop email or phone contact. Ask, and we will stop.

This website and our text messaging program are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to submit the estimate form or to consent to receive text messages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at lawill57@yahoo.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices change or as the law requires. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we handle text messaging consent will be described on this page. Please check back periodically.
