Drainage Structures
Every parking area is built to move water to a handful of points and get it underground. When those points stop working, the water does not disappear. It spreads across the surface, sits at the low spots, and works its way under the pavement until the base gives up.

Catch basins fill from the bottom up with sediment, gravel, leaves and trash until the outlet is choked and the basin stops taking water. Clearing them out is routine work that almost never gets scheduled until something backs up.

The block or brick throat of a basin deteriorates from the water passing through it. Once it starts collapsing, the frame loses support and the concrete around it follows. Affinity rebuilds the structure back to the frame.

A sunken or rocking grate is both a maintenance problem and a liability on a lot the public drives across. Frames get reset to the surrounding grade and secured so the casting sits solid under traffic.

The concrete collar surrounding a basin takes constant load and is usually the first thing to break up. Because Affinity is a concrete contractor, the drainage structure and the concrete around it get handled as one job.
